ASTANA -- The Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) conducted a three-day-long working meeting that ended Wednesday (December 14) in Astana for the Kazakhstani Border Guard Service, the OSCE said in a statement.
At the event, Latvian State Border Guard experts exchanged experiences with local officials to enhance Kazakhstani border security.
One key topic was "legal procedures that regulate" border troops' activities.
