BATKEN, Kyrgyzstan -- Kyrgyz border guards Sunday (January 29) in Batken Province detained a Tajik man suspected of belonging to an extremist organisation, the Kyrgyz State Border Service (GPS) said, according to a Monday (January 31) AKIPress.org report.
The border guards nabbed M. A., born in 1972, as he tried to enter Kyrgyzstan.
He is in the custody of the Kyrgyz State National Security Committee (GKNB).
