BISHKEK -- Kyrgyz Vice-Prime Minister Jenish Razakov Friday (March 3) conferred with an inter-agency working group to discuss its progress in devising a long-term government programme to fight extremism and terrorism, the government press office said in a statement.
Defeating the threat of international terrorism will require a comprehensive approach, said Razakov, adding that passage of the coming long-term counter-terrorism programme is key to overcoming terrorism.
The conferees presented a draft version of the programme to Razakov. They resolved to present a final version in two weeks for further consideration.
