ASTANA -- Kazakhstani National Security Committee (KNB) Chairman Karim Massimov Monday (March 13) convened a session of the Kazakhstani Anti-Terrorism Centre, the KNB press office said in a statement Tuesday (March 14).
The attendees, who included other high-ranking security officials, discussed "measures to implement the order of [President Nursultan Nazarbayev] to create the Cyber-Shield of Kazakhstan cyber-security system", said the KNB.
Other topics included efforts to make the state more successful in defeating the activities of extremist ideologues and proselytisers.
