ASHGABAT -- Turkmen military and law enforcement agencies have begun using the first trained group of Central Asian shepherd dogs (alabai), a source at the Defence Ministry told Caravanserai Tuesday (April 25).
"During training, eight dogs distinguished themselves in detaining hypothetical criminals and border violators," the source said. "They managed the task of finding explosives and drugs."
