Tajik medics treat wounded Afghan police

GORNO-BADAKSHAN, Tajikistan -- Tajik medics in Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Province (GBAO) treated seven Afghan police officers who were wounded in combat in nearby Zebak District, Badakhshan Province, Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty (RFE/RL)'s Tajik service reported Tuesday (May 2).

Fighting between the Taliban and Afghan troops continues in Zebak, according to RFE/RL.

The Taliban attacked Zebak April 28, according to Pajhwok Afghan News.
