TASHKENT -- Uzbekistan will be introducing a 50,000-UZS ($12.04) banknote into circulation August 22 to simplify the use of cash, Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty (RFE/RL) reported Tuesday (August 15), quoting the country's Central Bank.
The largest current note in circulation is worth only 10,000 UZS ($2.41), often making cash transactions inconvenient.
