ASTANA -- Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan have agreed to build an oil pipeline by 2021, CA-News.org reported Thursday (September 21), quoting Kazakhstani media. The pipeline, if completed, would deliver 5 million tonnes of oil yearly from Shymkent, Kazakhstan, to Jizzakh, Uzbekistan.
The planned pipeline is part of a recent agreement between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan to expand co-operation in energy.
