TASHKENT -- Members of the European Parliament met with Uzbek officials Tuesday (August 21) in Tashkent, the Uzbekistan National News Agency reported.
The two sides exchanged views on regional and international issues and highlighted co-operation between the parliaments of Uzbekistan and the European Union (EU).
The officials also stressed the importance of negotiations between Uzbek officials and EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini, who visited the country twice last year.
