DUSHANBE -- The US embassy in Dushanbe Thursday (November 1) announced that it has begun accepting applications for the the 2019-2020 Global Undergraduate Exchange Programme (Global UGRAD).
The programme, sponsored by the US Department of State, is a fully funded scholarship for one semester of non-degree study at a US college or university, according to an embassy statement.
The goal of the programme is to allow participants to learn about US society, culture and educational system, as well as to perform community service and enhance professional skills.
Tajik citizens who are enrolled in full-time undergraduate programmes in Tajikistan are eligible to apply.
