Atyrau hosts fair on opportunities for free education abroad

ATYRAU, Kazakhstan -- The Atyrau provincial administration and Kazakhstan's Centre for International Programmes are set to host an international education fair November 12-13 in Atyrau city, Kazinform reported.

"For two days, residents of Atyrau Province will have the unique opportunity to talk to representatives of foreign universities, learn more about free education abroad and get professional advice on educational matters," said Janbolat Meldeshov, president of the country's Centre for International Programmes.

Representatives of 200 partner universities from 40 countries are expected to attend. They are also planning to visit Astana, Almaty and Shymkent.

The graduates of two universities and 15 colleges of Atyrau, as well as 5,230 high school seniors, will have the opportunity to apply for about 20,000 grants for free education abroad.
