BISHKEK -- Kyrgyzstan plans to renew relations with the United States and has already begun close co-operation with the European Union, President Sooronbay Jeenbekov said at a news conference in Bishkek Wednesday (December 19).
The previous Kyrgyz government cancelled a co-operation pact with the United States (in 2015), he said.
"We are now co-operating and working in this direction. Our relationship will be renewed. Naturally, we will co-operate only in the interests of the republic," Jeenbekov said.
Seems they did a good job working with the Kyrgyz president since he is mending fences with the Yanks so eagerly... Well, we should see how it's gonna affect the country's economy... As practice shows, Americans only make promises, but in reality all the countries longing to be friends with the USA plunge into misery and their economies go down the drain slowly but surely...
