DUSHANBE -- Tajikistan's Independent Centre for Human Rights Protection, an NGO, has launched a new project focusing on access to media, Asia-Plus reported Monday (July 15).
It is implementing the project, "Supporting Improvement of the Legal Environment for Media in Tajikistan", with support from the US Agency for International Development (USAID).
The project includes plans to prepare a package of legal regulations, educational workshops for lawyers representing the mass media, and legal consultations for media representatives, bloggers and social network activists.
