CHOLPON-ATA, Kyrgyzstan -- The Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) June 18 gave the Issyk-Kul Province police a Mobile Police Reception (MPR) vehicle, the OSCE said in a statement. The vehicle "is designed to make the police more accessible to citizens so that they can together address security concerns", the OSCE said.
It is the 19th MPR vehicle that the OSCE has donated to the Kyrgyz police since 2011. The 18 other MPR vehicles operate in four other provinces.
