ALMATY -- The Berkut training centre for special forces opened recently in Zarechnyi village, Almaty Province, Kazakhstan Today reported December 28.
The centre has capacity to train 500 troops simultaneously. Various Kazakhstani special forces already are undergoing training there. Kazakhstan plans to instruct forces from various countries like Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan there as well.
The military created the training centre as part of the government's 2014-2016 counter-terrorism programme.
The stimulant, administered in pill form, has reportedly been sanctioned by the 'Islamic State' as a means to facilitate 'jihad' as it gives fighters stamina.
Do you think your government has taken adequate steps to protect you against potential terrorist attacks?
