TARAZ, Kazakhstan -- Police Wednesday (March 29) conducted counter-terrorism exercises in Taraz, Zhambyl Province, police press office said in a statement, according to Tengri News.
The exercises, called Nawruz Antiterror 2017, included personnel from the Zhambyl operational staff for fighting terrorism, said the police, adding that they were meant to improve the staff's efficiency.
The police practiced arresting suspects and searching cars.
