Kazakhstani anti-extremism charity to co-operate with 2 financial institutions

ASTANA -- The Astana-based charity Uakyp will be holding a ceremony at a local hotel Wednesday (October 4) to mark its impending co-operation with two financial institutions.

Officials from Uakyp, the Bank of Astana and Al Saqr Finance plan to sign a memorandum of co-operation. Attendees are expected to include Religious Affairs and Civil Society Minister Nurlan Yermekbayev and other government and business dignitaries.

Uakyp was formed to fight extremism, Caravanserai reported earlier.
