TURKMENABAD, Turkmenistan -- Turkmen police seized motorcycles, including those modified to haul trailers, throughout Lebap Province just before President Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov's June 7-8 visit to the province, a source at the provincial police told Caravanserai.
Authorities were concerned about the security problems posed by such vehicles. They did not disclose the number of motorcycles confiscated.
