SUGHD, Tajikistan -- Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan's general prosecutors Friday (May 19) conferred in Guliston, Sughd Province, Tajikistan, according to the Tajik general prosecutor's press office.
The event marked the first session of the unified leadership team of the countries' general prosecutors' offices.
Topics raised by Yusuf Rahmon (general prosecutor of Tajikistan) and Indira Joldubayeva (his Kyrgyz counterpart) included their countries' co-operation in battling terrorism, trans-national crime and drug trafficking and in preventing border-zone disputes.
