Kyrgyz nab suspected would-be suicide bomber

BISHKEK -- Kyrgyz State National Security Committee (GKNB) personnel in Bishkek arrested a suspected terrorist accused of plotting to blow himself up, AKIpress.org reported Thursday (June 8), quoting the GKNB press office.

The man's alleged organisation was not disclosed.

The suspect, identified only as M. A., had received suicide bomber training and was preparing to blow himself up in a public place, said the GKNB.

GKNB agents who searched the suspect's residence found bomb components, bomb instructions and other extremist materials and supplies, said the GKNB.
