MINSK, Belarus -- Members of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) will jointly fight youth extremism, e-islam.kz reported Monday (July 17), quoting a CIS draft plan for a 2018-2020 youth strategy.
The strategy includes efforts to prevent ethnic, religious and political extremism, xenophobia, and intolerance, and to develop an inter-cultural dialogue.
CIS specialists Friday (July 14) in Minsk approved the draft youth strategy and voted to forward it to the council of CIS member states' foreign ministers.
