ASTANA -- Kazakh Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev discussed economic relations with visiting Swiss official Federal Councillor Johann Schneider-Ammann Wednesday (July 11) in Astana, according to Sagintayev's press office.
The officials discussed deepening their countries' trade and economic relations, including joint investment and inter-regional co-operation.
Sagintayev expressed Kazakhstan's desire to co-operate in energy, transport, and small- and medium-sized enterprises, highlighting his country's favorable climate for foreign investors.
Sagintayev urged Swiss financial institutions to join the work of the just-opened Astana International Financial Centre.
