BISHKEK -- According to the Iyman Foundation for the Development of Spiritual Culture's press service, the Sowing the Light of Faith book fair took place in Bishkek October 15.
According to the foundation, the fair's floor was divided into different sections, including a popular science and educational zone, as well as fiction, children's, and religious literature zones.
Ulema and theologians, presenting the religious literature zone, answered attendees' questions about Islam.
"All of the religious literature on display at the zone promoted traditional Islam, countering religious extremist and terrorist ideology," said Iyman.
