BISHKEK -- Kyrgyz forces June 8-10 underwent military exercises at the Bishkek base of the armed forces' Centre for Combat Training, the armed forces' General Staff said in a recent statement.
Defence Ministry, law enforcement and emergency personnel took part in the exercises, in which they learned about planning, the organisation of territorial defence, and the preparation of essential documents, the General Staff said. The main purpose of the exercise was to teach forces to aid provincial and local governments in military emergencies.
