BISHKEK -- Kyrgyz forces August 29 killed a member of an international terrorist group near Bishkek, the State National Security Committee (GKNB) said in a September 6 statement, according to Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty.
The terrorist, a 39-year-old man, was killed in a gun battle with GKNB officers, the GKNB said. It identified him only as A. Kh.
GKNB officers recovered a home-made bomb, munitions and a rifle from the dead man.
