GHAZNI, Afghanistan -- Taliban militants June 7 publicly killed 12 captured security personnel in Andar District, Ghazni Province, Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty (RFE/RL) reported June 9, quoting officials.
The Taliban kidnapped the personnel between June 3 and 5 on various highways in Ghazni, provincial police spokesman Jawid Salangi said.
The 12 captives included seven police officers, three Afghan National Army soldiers, and two National Directorate of Security (NDS) officers, Gulam Mohammad Tahiri, an ANA intelligence officer, said June 8.
