BISHKEK -- Kyrgyz journalists attended a September 30-October 4 workshop in Chon-Kemin, Chui Province, about safety and security measures appropriate for reporting on violent extremism and radicalisation, the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) said in a September 30 statement.
A German NGO and the OSCE organised the training. Twenty journalists from four provinces attended it. The training included case analysis and practical assignments, the OSCE said.
