BISHKEK -- Kyrgyzstan President Almazbek Atambayev discussed the security situation in the country with the State National Security Committee (GKNB) Chairman Abdil Segizbayev, kabat.kg reported Monday (February 13), citing the presidential department of informational policy.
During the meeting, GKNB chair and the head of state discussed efforts to ensure the country's national security, and about steps being taken to fight terrorism and extremism.
Officials also discussed future plans to improve the entire package of measures to secure the country and its citizens.
