TARAZ, Kazakhstan -- Workers from the Zhambyl Province Centre for the Study of Problems of Religions Monday-Tuesday (May 8-9) handed out questionnaires and booklets in Taraz shopping centres.
The booklets included information on a secular state and the dangers of non-traditional Islam.
Residents of Taraz also received information cards with hotline numbers that they can call to report any suspicious activity.
