ALMATY -- A new centre providing psychological and educational services to children with special needs opened its doors Friday (June 8) in Almaty, Kazinform reported.
The centre, located on the grounds of the Kazakh State Women's Teacher Training University, was launched with the support of Almaty's education department and Kazakhstan's Dara Foundation.
The facility is the 25th of its kind in Kazakhstan, providing about 200 children with the free services of psychologists, speech and massage therapists and special education teachers.
