Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan launch new Chirchik-Almaty bus route


ALMATY -- Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan Wednesday (November 14) launched a new bus route between Chirchik, in Uzbekistan's Tashkent Province, and Almaty in Kazakhstan, Kazinform reported, citing the press service of the Uzbek Agency of Automobile Transport.

The 816-km route has a travel time of 16.5 hours. One-way trips on the route will cost $16-$18.
